Chocolate Cake

INGREDIENTS

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Beat in the vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in 3 batches, alternating with the milk and beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Beat until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
