Beef Stroganoff

INGREDIENTS
- Cut the beef into thin strips. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Add the onion and mushrooms and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to combine.
- Stir in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the sour cream and return the beef to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles.
